I am sucking at this bloggy stuff!

OK, so clearly the bloggy bug that bit two weeks ago, seems to have waned almost immediately. I still have ideas of bloggy, crafty grandeur floating around in my brain, but that is where it has stayed. I am still determined to eventually get off my arse and become a crafty goddess! I just think the idea of motivation is better in my head than it is in action at this point. So, I have decided that in order to make the motivation and crafting easier, I need a spot. I need a spot that I can claim as my "studio" (That's what the crafty goddess's call it you know). Since I have no actual room to make as a nifty little studio, I have decided to commandeer our one TINY linen closet (it's not like there's ever any clean linens in there anyway!) and make it my GIRLIE crafty spot. So, this weekend I will be painting the inside (I said I wanted girlie right?), redoing shelves, and setting up the sewing machine. This of course, in my brain, will force motivation. DH of course thinks I'm insane and actually laughed at my mentality. Well now I'm going to have to actually DO STUFF to prove him wrong!! GUNG HO!!!! I will post before and after pictures to commemorate my first project!

FINALLY! Flopped Into A World Of Crafty Inspiration And Awe.

So, I've made it, at least to the starting line. I have found my way to the bloggy world. I've found the secret (well not so secret, really) place where the crafty goddesses roam. I have always wondered where they congregated, together, fabulously creating. I have found them here, in this huge ocean of bloggers, that I always knew existed, but never peeked into. I'm like a fish out of water, flopping along, with that wild panicked look in my eyes and the heavy gasping for air. I have no idea what I am doing (craftiness or otherwise) but I am inspired and determined to become crafty, to find my niche, to find something that I love! I will read their tutorials, DO! their tutorials. I will sew, stencil, hammer, hole punch, and the million other amazing, genius things I see. The things I see and say to myself " Hey, I could do that!" (though I have no idea how or where to start). So, I will flop along, and eventually, hopefully, someday, reach the ocean of my own craftiness.
